Item Description
This is a highly domed 1" button issued in stark black/white contrast shortly after his death August 4, 1940. Between WWI and WWII he was the co-creator of the Jewish Legion, the first Jewish fighting force since Roman days, founder of the Hagana, spiritual father of the Jewish revolutionary forces Irgun and the FFI (Sternists). He was a visionary of the Jewish state and today in Israel there are more streets, parks and squares named after Jabotinsky then any other person in Jewish or Israeli history. Scarce and NM displaying Mint.
