Item Description
1.75" with union bug on back and curl. Front top and bottom read "National Conference." The event was held "Feb. 15-16, 1948/Washington D.C." This Council was established at the beginning of WWII to represent Zionist leadership in the United States. After the war it turned its attention to supporting the "Illegal Immigration" of Holocaust survivors to Palestine and lobbying the United States for a Jewish state. In 1949, a year after this event, the name was changed to American Zionist Council. Couple of very fine and short hairline scratches showing only in reflected light. Only example we've seen and it displays Mint. Couple of pinpoint dots if showing in our photo was dirt now removed. Very limited issue.
