Item Description
8x10" thin board w/fully painted art which is signed at lower right "Jorge S." Nice action image of Minoso in batting stance and wearing his Marianao Tigers uniform. Title at top "Orestes Minoso Outfielder" w/Tigers pennant below. A few spectators are visible in the bkg. Minnie had a long association with the Tigers, playing for the team from 1945 to 1961 and twice winning the MVP award for the Cuban League as a member of the team. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
