Original illustrated cardboard box contains 11.5" tall zinc-plated die-cast upright bank w/Air Force and American flags logo stickers. Astro Mfg., Inc. 1950s. Box notes that bank shoots coins "More Than A Foot High" via spring-loaded button on side. Box has moderate aging and scattered wear. Fine overall. Bank has some scattered scratches to luster but all decal stickers remain complete and intact. Missing rubber nose tip and one rubber tail fin tip but o/w Fine overall. Comes w/hinged-lid jewelry box which contains gold luster promotional set by Astro consisting of two 1-3/8" long missile cufflinks and 2" tie clip, each featuring Astro's Guided Missile design. Satin-like lid insert has "An Astro Original" text, indicating this set was a promotional item produced to help promote Astro's bank. Exc. Scarce set.
