Item Description
1x3.25" clipped signature from check has Ty Cobb's full first name Tyrus in green ink. Nicknamed "The Georgia Peach," Cobb's skill on the field is legendary. Named the 1911 AL MVP w/a .367 career batting average (the highest ever), he had 54 career steals at home plate (the most all time), 12 batting titles, including nine in a row from 1907-1915 (again the most all time). Cobb also ranks third all time in stolen bases w/892, second in runs scored w/2,245 and second in career hits w/4,191. Clip is evenly aged but clean and Exc. Would make a great display for of one of baseball's greats. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
