Item Description
13x21.25" thin artboard has original pen and ink art by Jack Sparling for "The Outer Limits" #15 published by Dell in Sept. 1967. Cover features art for three separate stories within issue - "A Nice Quiet Vacation" w/man being zapped by shaggy-haired alien; "Tune In Channel 1 Tonight" w/children watching Martian on TV; and "The Poor Dumb Creature" w/two men in protective suits w/hoses at "USA" rocket launch. Top center remains blank as used for title. Large starburst at center is also blank and had text promoting each story. "Dell Outer Limits F/C" pencil text at top margin and editorial notation at bottom margin. Scattered handling wear and dust soiling. VF overall. Great sci-fi art for a beloved TV series comic book. Comes w/reading copy of the comic this art was created for.
