Item Description
Both are mid-1930s. Each art board is 13.75x20.5" w/12.5x19" India ink image area w/hand-lettered logo signed by artist/creator Stanley Link. Sept. 8, 1935 has seven panels w/Tim having taken control of inside of robot and almost getting caught by another robot, but hiding out underwater in fountain. March 29, 1936 has nine panels w/Tim trying to figure out how to help Princess escape. He comes across a robot parts room and finds one that he can control, then plans to attack robot jail keeper. 1935 page is complete w/Chicago Tribune copyright strip. Art boards have lt. dust soiling/aging, image areas are o/w Fine/VF. Well drawn examples from a classic sequence. From the Don Maris Collection.
