Item Description
Thin 10.5x15.5" sheet of paper has original pen and ink/marker art over original pencils by Mark Arminski for July 6, 2006 concert that took place at The Magic Stick in Detroit, MI. Poster art features distorted man w/erupting volcano at top of his head, a pill on his outstretched tongue. Concert was headlined by Blue Cheer and supported by The Dirtbombs, an American garage rock band based in Detroit, notable for blending diverse influences such as punk rock and soul while featuring a dual bass guitar, dual drum and guitar line-up. Formed by Mick Collins (of the influential garage punk band The Gories) as a side project in 1995. Poster art has been hand-lettered by Arminski and features his name as it would appear on the final poster at lower left. Exc. Comes w/finished, NM example of the actual high quality offset lithograph poster, which has been Arminski's distinctive signature at bottom center in blue felt tip pen. Comes w/10.5x22.25" high quality silk-screened poster for Jan. 8, 2004 concert that took place at Blind Pig in Ann Arbor, MI. Arminski's poster design includes photo image of the band, who have signed by their images, Mick Collins (who adds "Brilliant As Always - Thanks), Ko Melina (who adds heart sketch), Pat Pantano (who adds "Boots, Pants"), Ben Blackwell (who adds "To Mark, Rock) and Troy Gregory (who adds "Thank You Mark A - The Colors" w/inscription trailing off). Arminski's distinctive signature appears at bottom center in blue felt tip pen. Trace of corner tip wear and two small spots of staining at lower left but o/w Exc. A unique trio for this band. From the Mark Arminski Archives and comes with a COA specially designed, signed and remarqued by him.
