First Edition 7x9" hardcover w/176 pages published by Harper Collins in 1981. Popular collection of poems by American poet, writer, and children's author Shel Silverstein (1930-1999) accompanied by illustrations by Silverstein. Complete w/dust jacket, front endpapers have been boldly signed in black felt tip pen by Silverstein, who has added a large sketch of a raised hand holding a rose. Wonderful inscription reads "A Flower - For Laura - With Love - Shel Silverstein." Inscription and sketch take up most of page. DJ shows lt. wear w/vertical crease to front inner flap. VF. Book itself is Exc. Scarce as signed and w/sketch.
