Item Description
18x29.5" artboard w/separate paper overlay (marked "Horesedrawn Field Artillery #352") has original mixed media art depicting the main box lid art for 1980 Lindberg model kit No. 70350 featuring a horse-drawn Union field artillery unit being drawn by four horses. A cannon faces rear and two soldiers sit on artillery box w/third soldier riding lead horse, his saber raised. Explosions go off in bkg. Art is signed by artist whose name appears to by "J. Steel." Large image area measures 15x27.5". Margins have some smudging along bottom and corner tip wear but these issues could be easily matted out. Art is NM and would look stunning framed. Impressive model kit art.
