Item Description
Not to be confused w/the 18x28" concert poster, this is the larger 27x39.75" limited edition lithograph that has been signed and numbered by the artist. Litho was for Sept. 24, 1988 benefit concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City that featured The Grateful Dead, Bruce Hornsby & The Range w/special guest appearance by Suzanne Vega. Poster art by Rauschenberg (1925-2008) includes an abstract rainforest bkg. w/large skull image at bottom center. Litho has been hand-signed in pencil at lower right, w/additional issue number "1/250." Printed by Syria Studios, litho has their stamp on corner and is the first issued litho from a limited, 250 "VIP" edition. Slight fade as evidenced at margins, but still displays Exc. From the collection of John Scher, legendary concert promoter, producer and manager and comes with COA signed by him.
