15.5x20” mat w/title “A Dignified Exit” has 11x12.5” opening w/India ink art of Boss Platt and well dressed friend arm in arm being kicked out of Union League Club. Art is signed in ink “Keppler” at lower right. Reverse side has pencil date of “April 6/94”. Art board has a few pinholes as done by the artist, otherwise Exc. Keppler (1870-1949), the son of the founder of “Puck”, was a long time “Puck” artist and an activist for Indian affairs.
