Item Description
15/16" with rim hole as issued. DeWitt #1860-27. The Bell side is near flawless. All but invisible to the naked eye are two pinpoint black dots just above his eyebrows. There is no actual loss of emulsion, just an absence of gray color on these two slightly raised tiny dots. The Everett side has near microscopic 1-32" x 1/32" emulsion dot off lower left edge of his hair. This is barely seen without magnification. Luster is close to 100% with bit of trivial darker tone on the front left. The flaws are very minor. Condition overall exceeds most examples and the portraits have particularly nice contrast with no darkness. Julie Powell Collection.
