Item Description
Buttons are 7/8" and the enamel pin is .75" tall. First reads "Jewish War Relief And Welfare Fund." This has W&H back paper which is tanned and button has dark stain around its outer edge. Still full gloss and very scarce. Second also from WWI era has Hebrew or Yiddish at the top with English below "The Jews Look To America For Help." Also with W&H back paper. We once saw the same design but with text "Remember Relief Ball Wed. March 15, 1916 At Symphony Hall Boston." Third has apparent stylized "V" for Victory along with tiny text below "For Zion" along with "40th Year Jewish Nat'l Fund." Last showing raised bandaged hand features a small Star of David above the word "Help" while lower rim edge reads "Palestine Resistance." Union bug on the reverse. Except for the first item, these are all NM displaying Mint.
