7x10-3/8” sheet has letter handwritten in ink dated “Feb. 27 1964 Chadds Ford Pa”. Letter reads in full “Dear Mrs. Willson, I Would Be Most Interested In This Book With The Portrait Of My Father N.C. Wyeth By Tony Sarg- Could You Please Send It To Me With The Price. Thanking You- Sincerely Andrew Wyeth”. Comes w/matching 3.5x6” envelope hand addressed in Wyeth’s hand postmarked “Chadds Ford Feb 28” addressed to recipient in Phila. Letter has folds as mailed, envelope has lt. creasing, missing part of back flap. Both will mat and frame to Fine/VF appearance. Wonderful Wyeth family association piece related to the artist's love for his illustrator father. Comes w/Hake’s COA.
