This art is for kit No. C389-50, the battleship USS Washington (BB-56), the second of two battleships in the North Carolina Class, was the third ship of the US Navy named in honor of the 42nd state. Launched in 1940 and decommissioned in 1947, the ship was scrapped in 1961. Art shows the ship at sea, American flag flying from aft mast. Art is signed by A.J. Rudisill. Art area measures 9x18". Sticker letters spelling "USS Washington" have been placed under art and the name is penciled at bottom right below art. Large margins have some aged tape strips at left and along top margin. Pinholes at corners. Art remains NM and would look stunning framed. Impressive model kit art.
