Item Description
Lot of three, two (1970) on 6.5x21" thin artboard and one (1973) on 5.25x21" thin artboard. All three w/India ink art in three or four panels. March 17, 1970 strip is four panels and features Donald Duck in Uncle Scrooge's office, where Scrooge is pacing over interest rates. April 21, 1970 strip is three panels and shows Donald leaving to go shopping, instructing Nephew to take message if anyone calls. Donald arrives back in last panel, so shocked that his hat flies off as Nephew is on phone w/Daisy and is busily writing extensive note on wall. Jan. 5, 1973 strip is four panels and features Donald in pajamas, attempting to get his Nephews to bed, extolling the virtues of both going to and getting out of bed early, which causes the Nephews to point out Donald's various flaws. Last panel shows Donald agreeing to stay up late. First two have Walt Disney Productions ©1970 paste-over strips while last has ©1972 (though strip ran in 1973) and all have King Features Syndicate paste-over strips. Applied screen tone shading accents have tanned in a few places as typical over the years. Art is VF/Exc.
