Original 8.25x13.25x2" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains complete and unused parts for 1950s Pressman Toy Corp. set. Similar in design to Hasbro's Mr. Potato Head sets of the same time period, this set allowed children to "Create Your Own Vegetable Space People" and came w/various brightly colored hard plastic pieces to be inserted into fruit/vegetable and hard plastic body. Set also includes pair of spring arms and antennas. Box lid has some lt. aging and corner wear w/creases at corners, but lid/box are free of splits and VF overall. Nicely illustrated die-cut cardboard insert lists name for parts that include "Sonic Resonator Headpiece, Super Sight Eyes" and "Robot Mouth" among others. Exc. Comes w/original foam disc display "head" w/pieces inserted. This has some scattered wear/aging, but parts are NM. Scarce set.
