Item Description
Lot consists of Dell "Rootie Kazootie" comic book pair ("Four Color" #459 and #4, published 1953-1954). Both features cover showing Rootie Kazootie wearing his distinctive long-billed baseball cap, three of which are offered in this lot. Cover of second issue has been signed in black felt tip pen by show creator Steve Carlin, who adds "1999" date. Issues shows scattered wear w/pinch creases to spine and spine splits. VG overall. Lot also includes three aforementioned long-billed baseball caps. Two features same printed design on cloth section and printed image on underside of glossy cardboard bill, but one has "Frostick" premium imprint and other does not. Both have moisture staining to inner lining of cap where bill meets fabric. Premium version is Fine/VF, non-premium version is Fine. Third hat features different material (brim is cloth-covered) and repeated but different image of "Rootie Kazootie" on top of cap and underside of bill. Cap is lightly aged but o/w Exc.
