Item Description
Thin art board has 3-7/8x17.5” India ink image area for August 26. Barney and doctor discuss trying to find Georgia Lee in panel one. Next is double panel scene w/ images of Georgia at six months and on the day of her “Sweet Sixteen” party, the Lee plantation, and her little brother Kokomo. Third panel has Police Chief telling Barney Georgia is posing for Montgomery La Goopa at Beaux Zarts studios. Barney says “Hot-cha-cha!”. Signed in ink “DeBeck” in panel three. Complete w/King Features copyright label on front and blue pencil title “Hot On The Trail!” on back. Margins have trace of lt. dust soil, image area will mat and frame to Exc. appearance.
