Item numbers 1 through 1007 in auction 214
Item Description
15/16” holed as made with the brass rims bearing the candidates’ names and the 1860 date. The Lincoln image is what DeWitt calls Lincoln photo #3. Both rims have brilliant luster. The Lincoln image is flawless with the exception of a pinpoint dot of emulsion off just above his shoulder at the right. The Hamlin image is also near flawless with the exception of a pinpoint emulsion speck off just below his eye on the right. Both images are exceptionally bright and clear. An outstanding example about 98% Mint. Rare in this high grade condition.
