Item Description
5/8” brass frame with stickpin missing from the reverse. The left and right sides of the ferrotype have cut out panels that once had a metallic red accent although on this piece all of the red color is gone and these areas are now black. The Lincoln image is dark but still easily visible. The emulsion is covered in tiny crazy lines that show in reflected light but the only actual loss is a small 1/16x1/16” chip off the upper left that removed the upper portion of the letter “L” of his name. A scarce piece listed as Hake #3079 with a 2004 revised price value of $650. VG.
