First blank page has been signed in ink by HOF members Bill Veeck and Early Wynn as well as Bob Kennedy, Ray Boone and Mike Garcia. DJ has been clipped and shows moderate wear w/heavy wear to top/bottom of spine and along inside front/back flap edges. 1" tear w/creasing at top back. VG. Book itself is Exc., as are signatures. Second book is 6x8-5/8" First Edition of Bill Veeck's "Veeck - As In Wreck," ©1962. Veeck was owner of the Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Browns and Chicago White Sox at one time. As owner and team president of the Indians in 1947, Veeck signed Larry Doby and thus successfully integrated the American League. HOF member Veeck has signed first blank page in black ink. DJ is unclipped and shows margin wear w/small tears and some scattered color rubs. VG/Fine. Book itself and signature are Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOAs.
