Item Description
Large 22.75x23" artboard has acrylic image area taking up most of artboard and depicting Road Runner standing on cliff overlooking Wile E. Coyote, who plummets to canyon floor, having just tried another faulty Acme product as noted by open box at cliff's edge marked "Wings Set." This art was used for Whitman's "Junior Guild Round" puzzle No. 4426 in 1978. Production notations at bottom note this puzzle was designed to be made in two sizes, listing each. Additional pencil note reads "The Road Runner - 4426 Juvenile Round Puzzle." Margins have staples holes and some scattered handling wear, but image area remains Exc. and would look wonderful framed. From the Whitman Archives.
