15x20-1/8" artboard has 11-5/8x15" acrylic image area depicting Lassie jumping though hoop held by Tommy. This art was used for the cover to Whitman's "Lassie Coloring Book," which was published in 1971. Production notations at bottom note this puzzle was "For Fall 1971" and lists additional job details as well as pencil note that reads "Lassie Coloring Book Cover." Upper margin has two strips of staining/tape aging and corners show wear w/creases, but image area remains Exc. and would look wonderful framed. Comes w/original heavily worn onionskin paper overlay w/rough pencil title and Whitman logo w/notes at margins and original acetate overlay w/painted title. "Coloring" shows much paint flaking.
