Item Description
11.25x13-7/8" artboard has 8.75x11.25" original acrylic image area. Art depicts Little Lulu peering around large sheet of paper w/dot-to-dot image of cat as scared dog looks on. A cat peeks out from behind opposite side of page. This art was used for the cover to Whitman activity book No. 1420 from 1960. Artboard has production notations and label w/job information (including (6-20-60" due date and "'Little Lulu' Dot To Dot" title) at bottom. Staple holes along margins w/tape stains at corners but art remains Exc. and comes w/acetate sheet w/painted "Marge's Little Lulu Dot To Dot" title. This has jagged 1.25x2" crack at bottom left, but title shows no wear. VG. From the Whitman Archives.
