Richard "Dick" Bickenbach was a longtime animator for Hanna-Barbera, credited w/design of the first Yogi Bear model sheets and Bickenbach also served as layout artist for Yogi Bear and The Flintstones. He also worked w/Ub Iwerks and for Warner Bros. Offered here is Bickenbach's personal art kit, a 12.5x17x4" deep wooden case w/carry handle and metal latches. Lid has been inscribed by Bickenbach, who has boldly signed his name and added his address. Kit contains vinyl artist smock, various paintbrushes and tools as well as several used tubes of paint. Kit shows expected wear from use by this important Hanna-Barbera artist. Fine/VF overall and comes w/printed illustrations of Yogi Bear and Boo Boo and The Flintstones which have been hand-colored by Bickenbach. Prints show scattered handling wear/dust soiling. Fine overall but nicely done. A unique lot for the Hanna-Barbera collector.
