Lot of four pieces used during production of 1980 TV commercial for popular Post cereal "Fruity Pebbles" commercial featuring a play on Beauty and the Beast, starring Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble. Lot features 10.5x12.5" and 13.5x16.5" sheets of animation paper w/lead and colored pencil drawings featuring same design for carved stone "Fruity And The Beast" title tablet that opens commercial. Sheets have some margin handling wear, smaller art remains Exc. Larger has vertical crease at center and is VF. Comes w/final 8x10.75 artboard w/painted mixed media master bkg. for this image w/large oval at center left blank. This was area animated portion of commercial would begin. Exc. Lot has second, 8.5x11" artboard w/painted mixed media master bkg. showing stone table Fred and Barney would gather around, surrounded by various fruit bushes and w/stone castles visible in distant bkg. Exc. Nice art lot from the classic 1980s Fruity Pebbles commercial series.
