Item Description
8x10.5" four-page program for Detroit Tigers team birthday event that took place July 9, 1951 at the Detroit Masonic Temple. Interior has been signed in blue (and in one case green) felt tip pen by ten sports personalities. MLB HOF member Larry Doby (who played w/the Tigers in 1959) has signed at center, his signature skipping a bit as signed, but still legible. Other key signatures include Tigers players Fred Hutchinson (1952-1954) and Pat Mullin (1940-1941, 1946-1953) and NFL players Leon Hart (Detroit Lions), Johnny Drake (Cleveland Rams), Vince Banonis (Chicago Cardinals/Detroit Lions) and Johnny Green (Buffalo Bills/New York Titans). Program has some soiling along inner spine, but not affecting signatures. Program also has some handling wear w/scattered creases and pinch creases. Fine/VF. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
