Item Description
Flattened size is 14.25x23-3/8" designed to form a pop-up display that originally contained 12 rocketship premiums. Display has no reference to Buck Rogers but very similar to his Muffets Whistling Rocketship premium from 1939 (see #2337). This premium was available w/purchase of two packages of Muffets Toasted Whole Wheat Biscuits. When assembled, the die-cut back panel features an illustration of boy and girl playing w/rocketship. Similar art also appears on front side panel. Additional design includes inset image of "Muffets" product box, back panel includes illustrations of different display ideas. Back side panel has two .5x2" pieces of inner flap missing although not visible when assembled. Large die-cut front panel has two 1.5" tears on back and pair of 4" tears along left/right edge which has caused front main panel to come loose. Entire display has all-over obvious dust soiling/aging. Good. Rare. Gold Premium Archives.
