Companion photo to previous item #910 and in same format. 11x14". Attached to bottom center is original paper caption reading "East West Game - 1943 Comiskey Park, Chicago/Paige Pitching, Radcliffe Catching. Won By West 2-1." Paige was the winning pitcher of this game while Dave Barnhill recorded the loss. The game action photo catches Paige pitching and wearing his KC Monarchs uniform. In the background are packed stadium seats. Radcliffe (shown from behind) played in six East-West All-Star games, three as a catcher and three as a pitcher, hence his nickname "Double Duty." Minor handling wear but totally bright and glossy. An exceptional photo in both size and content. Exc. Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
