Item Description
22-1/8x28.25" thin cardboard sign has text at top left that reads "Read These Action Adventure Comics In The Standard" and goes on to list - "Superman, Dick Tracy, Flash Gordon, Jane Arden, Tarzan, Smiling Jack, King Of The Mounties, Terry And The Pirates" w/images of each character. Additional text reads "More Comics Than Any Other Canadian Paper." 1940s. Sign has obvious margin wear w/pinholes at corners, along sides, strips of adhered paper w/some paint along margin edges, 1.25x1.5" area of surface paper lift at top left and even moderate aging. Upper left has 1" tear by pinhole. Most of these issues are limited to margin areas and would greatly improve for display is properly framed and matted. Displays VG.
