Item Description
12x23" illustrated store display card contains complete amount of 12 individually carded plastic toy telephones, each w/paper insert showing scene from "Jumborg Ace," a Japanese tokustasu (live-action film or TV drama that features considerable use of special effects) TV show that aired in Japan Jan. 17 to Dec. 29, 1973. Made in Japan for the Japanese market, c. 1973. Card features Jumborg Ace fighting kaiju King Zaigrasu. Complete w/small sticker bearing Jumborg Ace's face. Card shows some scattered corner tip/edge wear and is Fine/VF. Phones come in three different color combinations and feature a total of six different photo scenes from the show. All but four show Jumborg Ace; the remaining four feature him in human form. These inserts show moderate aging and are VG overall while rest of toys are NM on cards that show some scattered wear and are Fine/VF overall. Scarce display.
