Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains original foam packing containing 4.5" long die-cast metal and plastic racer w/rubber tires from the Japanese "Machine Hayabusa" auto racing anime series that aired from April 2 to Sept. 17, 1976. Popy, produced for the Japanese market in 1976. Box shows moderate edge/corner tip wear w/corner creases. Fine. "Kamikaze" racer has figural plastic driver and features plastic turbine at back that revolves when racer is pushed along. Complete w/sealed plastic bag containing plastic missiles to fire from spring-loaded ports flanking driver. Racer has some scattered aging w/slight fade to Japanese flag stickers. VF/Exc. overall. Scarce as boxed.
