Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 5" long die-cast metal and plastic racer w/rubber tires from the Japanese "Machine Hayabusa" auto racing anime series that aired from April 2 to Sept. 17, 1976. Popy, produced for the Japanese market in 1976. Box has scattered edge/corner tip wear and is Fine overall. "Gantetsu" racer has figural plastic driver and features opening plastic hood/engine cover at back. Complete w/sealed plastic bag containing plastic missiles to fire from spring-loaded ports flanking driver. Slight fade to top Japanese flag sticker but o/w Exc. Comes w/illustrated Popy catalog folder showing other tokusatsu and anime toys. Scarce as boxed.
