Item Description
Lot of three items from Swift's Meats' 1958 premium campaign. 21.5x30.25" glossy paper sign features full figure image of spaceman plus examples of all of the 1958 Swift's premium items as well as Swift products. Text at top reads "Get In On Swift's 'Up-To-The-Minute Man' Event Now At Your Food Store" followed by additional text which reads "Free Space Lore With Swift's Premium Meats." Of particular note are the "Space Trading Cards" shown at center. Sign has very faint vertical ripple/fold at center, other very minor wear from handling but still VF/Exc. for display. Comes w/glossy 11x15" single-sided proof for promotional flyer featuring similar design w/same items but w/more text. Crease at lower left corner, o/w Exc. Comes w/uncut 16x22.5" sheet of "Space Trading Cards," sheet featuring complete set of 12 cards. Backs of each have titles and descriptive text. Some of note include - "Aquaship On Venus, Exploring The Moon, Space Workman's Pogo-Jet, Telescope Satellite" and others. Sheet is lightly aged w/corner crease. VF/Exc. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
