See previous item #2251. 12.25x23.75" thin sheet of paper has original mixed media prototype original art for sign promoting 12 1950s Post cereal "Space Toys" premiums - showing children launching air-powered rocketship at left w/bottom margin having 10 spots for non-distinct images of these premiums. "Post's" cereal box image at right. Hand-lettered text notes - "12 New Exciting Action Space Toys" as well as "No Money! No Box Tops To Send In! One In Every Package Of Post's..." Upper left has large "Free Of Extra Cost" notation. The 12 toys had punch-out components, a concept that was later utilized for "Roy Rogers Wild West Action Toy." Art has a three notable vertical creases and faint horizontal crease at center, but these do not detract greatly. Pin holes at corners w/some lt. wear. VF overall. Unique. Art comes w/board having both side of Roy Rogers punch-out mounted on one side, w/pair of 5x7" glossy photos showing more fully realized prototype art featuring two different blow-powered space premiums. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
