Item Description
10x23.5" sheet of paper has mixed media original art (including pastels) for proposed premium sign advertising "Flying Space Planes." This 1950s prototype sign includes nondescript images of product boxes at right w/hand-lettered "Free" text above them and additional "1 Space Plane In Every Package Of..." text. Illustration of boy and girl at left, the boy releasing three very futuristic-looking space planes into the air. As top sheet was glued to another sheet, there is some aging/staining from glue. This is particularly noticeable at children's faces/hand, which exhibits a loss of color. Scattered handling wear/aging. VG/Fine overall. Unique. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
