Thin 13.75x14" sheet of vellum has lead and colored pencil prototype original art for box package featuring Buck Rogers comic story. 1930s. Art features hand-lettered text that reads "Get The Others - A Different Series Of Buck Rogers Cartoons, Appear On The Back Panels Of Muffets. Watch For Them - Save The Entire Series - Send 2 Boxtops For A Binder To Keep Your Cartoons In." Back of box features four panels, showing Buck Rogers and Wilma Deering descending cavern stairs. Additional illustration to right of art depicts "Binder For Buck Rogers Stories" w/rocketship cover and additional open binder diagram w/"A Cardboard Binder Could Be Made For The Child To Save His Panels And Make A Regular Buck Rogers Book." Horizontal fold line at center w/diagonal crease across upper right. Some of the white paint accents have flaked off, including some of "Buck Rogers - 25th Century - In The Trap" title at top of box art. Scattered aging and handling wear w/creases at lower left corner. Fine overall. A must have for Buck Rogers collector. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
