Item Description
Lot of four 9.75x12" sheets of vellum w/black paper borders and three having been applied to artboard backing. Not marked as such, but a proposal for "Sports Trophies" premiums created for Cracker Jack, 1960s. Each sheet featuring all original art, showing three different premium trophies per sheet, two views of each; one unassembled on sprues (as it was to be issued in cereal boxes) and another assembled. These include trophies for Bowling, Tennis, Football, Diving, Baseball, Basketball, Running, Ice Skating, All Star, Golf, Hockey and Weight Lifting. Each has hand-lettered sports name under trophy in pencil. "A Creation Of Sam Gold - Premium King" foil crown sticker at lower right corner of paper mats. Some glue staining at margins as attached to matts/artboards, but all art remain clean and bright. VF overall. Very unique lot for Cracker Jack and sports collectors. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
