Two sheets of paper w/mixed media original art promoting the 1944 "Dick Tracy Rubber Band Pistol And Target" punch-out premium issued by Miller Brother Hat Co. 11-1/8x15-7/8" sheet has profile image of Dick Tracy w/"Actual Size" image of premium gun. Tracy word balloon reads "It's Harmless And Loads Of Fun! Come In Now - Get Your Six Shooter" w/additional text noting "Free With Every Dick Tracy Hat" text beside Dick Tracy Hat emblem. Margins have some pencil notations and sheets have been folded into quarters. Even aging w/some scattered handling wear. Fine overall. 11x17" sheet has been folded into 8.5x11" mailer folder format w/large Tracy profile on front w/hand-lettered text reading "My New Dick Tracy Automatic Rubber Band Tommy Gun Will Snap Up Your Sales! Small Fry, And Older Ones, Too, Like Guns, They Like And Admire Dick Tracy... Put The Two Together And You've Got A Sizzling Hot Give-Away!" Small gun image at lower left. Folder opens to reveal "Actual Size" gun outline w/rough comic strip image of children playing w/premium. Additional image of Dick Tracy Jr. wearing hat and holding gun appears above Dick Tracy Hat emblem w/Miller Bros. Hat Co. Inc. name. Text notes "See Newspaper Mats And Window Streamer On Reverse Side" w/back having empty blocks for the mentioned advertising displays. Two horizontal folds as this was designed to be mailed.
