Item Description
Nicely illustrated cardboard box contains 12" long tin litho toy w/built-in key. Marx, 1952. Box is complete, evenly aged and has had paper reinforcement added to entire interior, reattaching end flap and one inner flap. Inked name at end of one main panel and 1x1.5" area of surface paper lift to end flap. Displays Fine. Toy features large "Tom Corbett Space Cadet" name/symbol on sides w/additional "Polaris" ship name by tail fins. Cockpit has image of Corbett w/two Space Cadets w/Marx logo on nose of ship. This is color variety w/blue underside and yellow tail fin. Toy works and travels as pinging sound and sparks are produced. Trace wear in the form of a few tiny paint nicks, but o/w bright, glossy and still NM overall for this toy. Rare in this condition and w/box.
