Item Description
9.5" tall painted tin body spaceman w/tin litho image of spaceman in helmet behind outer helmet's viewing window. Made in Japan by Yonezawa, 1958. Toy has built-in key on side and works when wound, advancing as "Oxygen Meter" needle moves back and forth. No longer sparks. Plated antenna and the painted tin base that holds it in place are exact replacements by Tin Toy Works of Allentown, PA. Body shows scattered paint wear in the form of nicks/scratches w/some aging to plated accents pieces. Fine overall.
