Item Description
3.25x5.5" vintage matte postcard depicting Clarence Yon, pitcher for Hopkinsville, KY of the K.I.T. League. Publisher has accorded Yon the status of being the best pitcher in the Class D Kentucky-Illinois-Tennessee League during the 1910 baseball season. Yon finished the season with a 14-14 record and was among the league leaders for wins that season. Postcard has only minor corner wear and a couple of significant creases and an unused, divided postcard back. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
