Item Description
3.5x5.5" vintage linen colorized postcard depicting a ball game of female baseball players, taking place during the World War II era. Players are pictured on the lawn of a residential area with homes visible in the background and highlighting an individual batting. Divided back has a handwritten message on one side and address on the other. Postcard has been mailed and includes a postal cancellation date of August 28, 1944. Exc. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
