Item Description
5x7.25" original matte photo picturing the 1930s Brooklyn Dodgers baseball club at Sloppy Joe's Bar in Havana, Cuba. Photo has been mounted on a thick cardboard backing measuring 7x9.25", back indicates "Taken 1931 - Brooklyn Players And Me At Havana Watering Hole". Individuals pictured have not been identified but the 1931 Brooklyn roster indicates that there are a total of three Hall of Famers on the club: Ernie Lombardi, Dazzy Vance & Al Lopez. Image quality is excellent, back of mount exhibits significant remnants from scrapbook removal. Fine/VF. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
