Item Description
3-3/8x5.25" original glossy photo depicting New York Giants' HOF'er, Bill Terry, during his stint as player/manager for the ball club during the early 1930s. Handwritten notation on the photo states "1932" on both front and back. Joining the Giants team in 1923, Terry would go on to play all 14 of his MLB seasons w/them. Terry finished his career with an amazing .341 batting average along with 154 home runs and 1,078 RBI's, gaining election to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1954. Photo has no condition issues of note. Exc. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
