Item Description
5-1/8x8.5" matte paper premium depicting long time Negro League star, Roy Partlow, after joining the Los Angeles Dodgers minor league affiliate, the Montreal Royals. The Parade Sportive issue by Paul Stuart is most famously known for its inclusion of a pre-rookie Jackie Robinson premium, the earliest catalogued appearance for Jackie. Partlow began his Negro League career in 1934 with the Memphis Red Sox and would go on to play for both the Homestead Grays and Philadelphia Stars throughout the 1940s.
