Item Description
4.25x6-3/8" vintage yearbook/autograph book all-in-one, presenting short biographies along with images of every Mariano ballplayer on the team roster as of the start of the 1949-50 winter league season. Among the biggest stars of the day were: Ray Dandridge (HOF), Jose M. Fernandez Sr., Quincy Trouppe, Chiquitin Cabrera, Claro Duany and Carlos Blanco. Every player page comes with an accompanying blank page alongside it for autograph signing purposes. No signatures were ever obtained with this book, however. Some general wear is visible including foxing, edge and corner wear, vintage tape on spine but these issues do not detract greatly from the overall appearance of the booklet. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
