Item Description
3.5x5.5" vintage matte postcard picturing Cuban baseball player Asdrubal Baro during his playing days w/the Mexican League's Aguilas de Vera Cruz ball club during the early 1960s. Baro was noted for being a consistent .300 hitter while playing in Mexico. Back of postcard is divided w/lines for address but missing the usual stamp box, possibly because it was produced in Mexico, where the photo was taken. Image exhibits excellent clarity w/no significant condition issues to note. VF. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
